Air Experience Flights
Try gliding with the aero-tow launch Air Experience Flight. Get launched at least 2,000ft in the air and soar the skies with our experienced pilots.
You will be flying in one of the club’s two seat gliders with a front seat view. You can relax and enjoy the scenery as our fully qualified instructors demonstrate the various controls and their effects - they'll even give you the opportunity to take control of the glider. Depending on the weather, we aim to stay air-born for at least 30 minutes.
Aero-tow launching is where the glider is towed into the air by a powered aircraft to 2,000ft (or more) above the ground and released. The pilot then searches for the thermal up currents to soar and climb to the base of the clouds, then fly in search of more thermals.
Aero-tow Air Experience Flight can be arranged for most days of the week.

We can cater for groups by arrangement using Aero-tow launches.

30 day membership
An introductory 30 day membership is included in the $220 and is designed to allow people to come back for more flights (without having to pay the $40 temporary membership again). You can have up to 10 flights or 5 hours flying time in the 30 consecutive days.

Note: Becoming a member will allow you to fly at club rates which are cheaper than AEF flights.
